Spode Commemorative 'Loving Cup'

This beautifully detailed Spode commemorative 'Loving Cup' was presented to the Scottish Football Association on the occasion of the Great Britain v. Rest of Europe match at Hampden Park on the 10th of May 1947.   

A series of 'Loving Cups' was initially presented to the 22 English First Division Clubs that finished the 1936-37 season in August 1937 to commemorate the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth on the 12th of May 1937.
