Formed in 1869 by a group of sporting enthusiasts who initially played a crude form of rugby football, Kilmarnock F.C. was eventually constituted in 1872. This exhibition of the Mother Club of football in Ayrshire took us on a journey from the early days of the club’s history to the present day. Many of the items on display in this exhibition can now be found in Kilmarnock F.C.'s own museum which is located within the Frank Beattie Stand at Rugby Park.
